Field Trips

Most months we conduct a field trip to an interesting rockhounding locale on the Central Coast, but occasionally outside the area such as when our club participated in the CFMS field trip to Ant Hill in Bakersfield on March 21, 2009.

We do not currently have a field trip planned for this month due to our field trip coordinator being out of the area.

Be sure to check this page for details of future field trips as this is the best time of year to go with all the rainfall of this current El Nino event encouraging erosion and the stormy seas stirring up heavier-than-usual wave action positioning the beaches for their best rockhounding conditions of the year right now.
